Star Wars Lightsaber Forms
Form 1

This form, known as Shi-Cho, is the basics form taught after Form Zero to each padawan. It is believed to be the form used by the ancient Jedi, but since then more powerful lightsaber forms have been created. Shi-Cho is characterized by its two handed guard opening stance, its broad slashes, aimed at hitting the opponent's lightsaber, and then hitting them. Shi-Cho strategy: Start out defensive, blocking your opponent's techniques. Watch how your opponent responds and use that to figure out their weaknesses. Are they bad at blocking stabs, or their right side, their left leg, etc? Then aim for their weak spot with strong two handed cuts. Try to power around their guard into their lightsaber hilt if possible beforehand to make it easier.
Form 2

This form, known as Makashi, is the duelling form that has spawned the greatest duellists ever, such as Count Dooku. It is both a Jedi and Sith form, but because it is focused on duelling a lightsaber wielder, it is impractical in a world of blaster wielding opponents. It is characterized by its light, accurate cuts and stabs meant to work around the opponent's guard and wear them down. Also, it is renowned because its users use curved hilted lightsabers, which are designed to fit into the hand, adding greater speed, accuracy, and power to each blow. Makashi strategy: Start out with an immediate offense, testing your opponent's blocking. Remember to go light to preserve your energy. The goal at this point is not to kill them but to find weaknesses. Once you have identified weaknesses, attack as often as you can, block by pushing their blade away. Reserve your power until you have a tactical advantage, and then kill them by aiming for vital blows. Remember your speed, and your light, accurate blows. Without them you will die.
Form 3

This form, known as Soresu, is the blocking form that has created great masters such as Obi-Wan Kenobi. It is again both a Jedi and Sith form, but it is focused on an all out defense and blaster bolt deflection. Its weakness is not too much power, such as form 1, or not enough power, such as form 2, but its weakness is not attacking enough. A master of Soresu will block until they see a mistake on the part of an enemy, and then they will attack, taking advantage of the mistake to end the fight. Soresu strategy: Start out defensive, block until you see them make a crucial mistake that will allow you to win, such as them placing their back near an area where they can't move, or them keeping their guard in an area that exposes a weakness or an area to attack, then attack it and kill them quickly.
Form 4

This form, known as Ataru, is the agility form that has created the grandmaster of the Jedi order, Yoda. It is both a Jedi and Sith form, but can lead to the dark side because of its use of an aggressive offense. Its weakness is moving too much and getting trapped where they can't get out, or moving so much they wear themselves out. Its power is that movement though. It is suited for those who are fast and agile, and it focuses fast slashes at arms and legs to incapacitate the opponent before it slices their lightsaber in two and then ends the opponent. Ataru strategy: Start out with a leaping, spinning, aggressive offense. The rule is move so much and attack so much that you almost don't have to block. Aim for arms, legs, lightsabers, and then their head or body, in that order, to incapacitate and then kill them.
Form 5

This form, known in its two forms as Shien and Djem So, has created some of the greatest Jedi and Sith ever, Darth Bane and Anakin Skywalker. Shien holds the lightsaber backwards and is good for deflecting bolts. Djem So is the side of the form the perfects the idea of counter-attack. The idea is block hard and immediately counter-attack with several strong techniques, then block, and then counter... Over power the opponent quickly is the strategy, but do not lose the defensive area of this side of the form or you will quickly die. It is best used on other strong forms or on weak forms.
Form 6

This form, known as Niman, has created a powerful Sith known as Darth Sidious. This form focuses on having accurate techniques, like Makashi, blocking like Soresu, moving like Ataru, and having the power of Djem So. It is powerful it you put those together, but the fact that this form has no strength is its weakness. It strives to be above average in all of those traits, but a real master of one of those can defeat a Niman user in that area, but could be over come in a different area. Not a bad form for those who like being a jack-of-all-trades and quite possibly a master of all.

Form 7

This form, known as Vaapad or Juyo depending on whether it is Jedi or Sith, has created a powerful Jedi known as Mace Windu. It involves using strong, fast, unpredictable techniques in a stacatto rhythm. Don't follow a particular pattern, just hit any exposed area randomly. Focus on defense as well, and mess up the timing every so often to surprise the opponent. If done correctly this form could be the most powerful form of all.

Airsoft Strategies

Ever wondered what to do when you are trapped behind a tree, pinned by a guy with a CO2 and a guy with a semi-automatic M-4 in the middle of an airsoft war? I did after the last airsoft battle I fought, and here are a few strategies I have come up with for various situations, either solo or with a few friends with you in the same situation...

Scenario: Your base has been captured and is held by 1-2 enemies
Strategy: It depends on your weapon. If you are wielding a pistol, don't even think about it. If you have a shotgun or rifle, get another guy who is on your side if possible, and you advance from one side, firing on the enemies while moving from cover to cover, while your friend advances, doing the same thing from the other side. They can't defend against attacks from multiple directions for long...
Hint: If you are worried about your base being captured, scout it out. How would you attack it? What are the best points to defend it and attack it? Are there areas near it that can cover the base with fire, or areas that can attack the your base safely? If your base is attacked, you will be much more prepared to defend it, or take it back.

Scenario: You are facing a guy with a semi-automatic weapon
Strategy: Once again, it depends on your weapon. If you have a semi-automatic weapon as well, it is going to be a shootout. Find a good defensive area and have it out with them. May the most FPS win. If you have a pistol, you need to lay an ambush. Get into an area with a lot of cover and wait for them to expose themselves. The one thing you can almost consistently count on with guys with semi-automatic rifles is that they will attack [read 'make a fatal mistake'] when things get too boring, or they think that they have a huge advantage that can't be overcome. Let them get cocky and then shoot them down quickly before they find you. If you have a shotgun, then your FPS is almost as big as theirs, probably. Most shotguns average between 300 and 360 FPS, and most AEG's are not that much bigger in FPS. The only advantage that AEG's have is that they are semi-automatic. View the battle that way. Your gun is almost as powerful as theirs, but yours is single shot. Find good cover, and play sniper until you get them. If they can't find you, they may make a fatal mistake by hiding the wrong direction or exposing themselves.
Hint: It is almost always better for you not to go charging in, firing like a madman unless the enemy is already terrified and broken, or you have such power and numbers on your side that they can't really stop you. Usually, the most successful tactic for this kind of scenario is finding some trees with lots of undergrowth to stop bb's. The little leaves and branches will make you hard to hit, but you can usually fire out of it and get your enemy before they even know you are there. Sometimes, they never find you in that kind of hideout.

Scenario: You are outnumbered 2 or 3 to one
Strategy: First, try not to get outnumbered 3 to one. It is almost impossible to fight your way out of that unless you are really talented and are a good shot, or you have a much better firearm than they do. More than likely, if they are not trying to retreat and you are in their way, they will try to surround you and shoot at you from multiple sides. If it a 2 against one, put something solid, like a tree, in between yourself and your more powerful opponent. Then, start shooting like crazy at your other opponent, and they will either hide or get shot. Then you only have one opponent to worry about. If you are facing three opponents, run. You need to isolate one from the other two and eliminate that one quickly, and then use the against two others section of this strategy. Like I said, if you are not a really good shot and are not really fast, don't even try.
Hint: When you are playing in the woods, it is easy to blunder around looking for enemies and get yourself shot without even finding who shot you, let alone shoot them back. Don't do that... Find a good area that is easy to defend and use your eyes and ears to tell you if opponents are nearby. If they are not, move quickly and quietly to another defensive area that you have already identified and repeat the process. Make sure they are not nearby... This means wait around 3-5 minutes at each hideout, because they would more than likely do something that could cause you to see them in that time period. If they are, draw their attention. Shoot in their direction. You are in a defensive spot, and if they start attacking you, they will make a mistake sooner or later and you can get them.

Scenario: You and a teamate need to reach a certain area that is covered
Strategy: First, the person with the more powerful gun needs to scout out the area. Look for the defenders and get them to hide and return fire at the person with the more powerful gun. Then, the other person runs to the area, and the first person, who was covering the other, then retreats to that area.
Hint: The best way to trap someone, maneuver, or pin them down in general is to give a good fire, as fast as you can, in their direction. They will stay hunkered down and/or return fire, giving you a chance to do what you need to do while you keep firing.

Scenario: You need to attack a heavily guarded base
Strategy: It depends on your weapon, how many people are guarding, and what their weapons are. Supposing there are 4-5 defenders and they have 2-3 automatics, 1 shotgun and 1 CO2, and you have an automatic, first, get their attention. Fire off a few rounds aimed in the opposite area from the base. Someone will probably think that they have a defender out their who is gunfighting an enemy, and they will send someone to investigate. Turn around and get into a good spot, and then kill the person quickly. Then repeat that process. Another person may come and you must kill them too. Now that the odds are 2-3 to one, you can gunfight the other two for the base by finding a spot that allows you to shoot inside the base without being seen, and then kill the other two to three. Move into the base before reinforcements come and prepare to defend it. Of course, there is always the outside chance that one or two will run for it and get away, but if you do it right, they will have to fight you for their own base, and you can handle a one on one or a one on 2 pretty easily, right?
Hint: If you have an inferior weapon to an opponent, then don't ever turn it into a shootout. They will always win. Instead, track them down. Find their general location, and sneak into that location. Look around until you find them, and then shoot them in the back when you are in position. It will make you an easy killer.
